Aeolus's Bag of Wind
As Odysses leaves the island of the Cyclops he passes by the island of the wind god, Aeolus. Once Odysseus' ship boards the island he is met by Aeolus. Then Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag full of all the worlds winds except the westerly winds which will blow Odyessus all the way home to Ithaca. The only catch to the gift Aeolus gives to Odysseus is that he cannot open the bag until he reaches Ithaca. Gracious of the gift, Odysseus goes back to his ship were he brings the bag along with him. As he boards the ship he is met by his ship men who become curious of whats in the bag. Odyessus tells them not to open it until they reach Ithaca. The ship men become more curious day by day. Eventually one day Odyessus drifts off to sleep and his ship men open the bag and the ship gets blown off of its course to Ithaca. Odysseus should have been honest to his crew, but on the other hand his crew members should have listened to him and obeyed his orders about opening the bag.
